In Chimeras, I wanted to think about contemporary society. Using a wide range of materials, I tried to bring their diversity onto the canvas and weave it into a single image. The result was a series of compositions that move between harmony and dissonance. In the same way, when different people come together, this can sometimes grow into neighbourliness and at other times into conflict.
